Why Kinvaya

It takes a village to support a parent.

From pregnancy to your child’s second birthday, the first 1,000 days shape the foundations of their lifelong development.

It’s a period of extraordinary growth and change, as your baby’s brain develops at a remarkable pace and they begin to make sense of themselves, you and the world around them.

But this isn’t only a time of enormous change for your baby. It’s a time of change for you, too. Navigating these early months and years can feel overwhelming as you adapt to a new identity alongside your little one.

At Kinvaya, we believe parents and carers deserve to feel understood, supported and guided through these early years. We bring together trusted research with clinical expertise, turning it into practical support that meets you where you are.

A family of many generations gathered closely around a mother holding her baby.

“Our goal is to create a generation of flourishing families where every child thrives.”

Our philosophy

The Kinvaya Triangle: a framework to strengthen your judgement

You know your baby better than anyone. Kinvaya helps you make sense of what you notice and find a way forward that feels right for your family.

The Kinvaya Triangle offers a simple way to understand how sleep, eat and play connect, enabling you to understand what your baby’s behaviour may be telling you.

We explore these connections within the life of your whole family, taking into account how you are feeling, the support you have and the rhythms of your home to give you holistic support.

Build the confidence to move from “What should I do?” to “What is my baby showing me?”

Pregnancy

Preparing together

Understanding the changes ahead for you, your partner, your baby and your wider family. We begin before your baby arrives, because preparation is not only practical—it is about how you want to feel and who will be around you.

  • Learning how to communicate with your newborn baby
  • Setting up your support network
  • What to physiologically expect in the first few days post partum

Every family moves at its own pace. These stages are a guide, and the learning builds over time.

Wherever you are in these two years, we meet you there.

The people behind Kinvaya

Meet us

Kinvaya began with a simple observation: parents in the first 1,000 days are overwhelmed by advice and short on support. We built the place we wished existed for all families—clinically grounded, practical and on your side.

A few things you may be wondering.

Who is Kinvaya for?

Kinvaya supports parents from pregnancy through their child’s first two years. You may be preparing for your first baby or discovering that another child brings different questions. You are welcome whether you have a particular concern or simply want to understand more.

Can I join during pregnancy?

Yes—you’re already a parent. You are welcome at any point during pregnancy, with space to explore your questions and prepare for the changes ahead.

Can I join now?

Our Founding Membership is currently full. Join the waitlist and we’ll let you know when membership opens. Joining the waitlist is free and does not start a paid membership or guarantee a place.

What does membership include?

For £32 a month, your family can access workshops four times a week, a 10-minute one-to-one call with our Clinical Director each month, the chance to propose and vote for workshop topics, and printed Crib Sheets with practical guidance.

Can my partner or another caregiver use the membership?

Yes. Every membership covers two primary caregivers, whether that means two parents or a single mother with the support of a grandparent or trusted carer.

When are the workshops, and how do I book?

Workshops run four times a week. Two are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1pm to 3pm UK time, and we’re still confirming the days and times of the other two. You can book your place through your member portal.

Are there evening sessions?

Evening sessions are coming. We know daytime workshops don’t suit every family, particularly where both caregivers are working. Tell us which evenings and times would work for you at hello@kinvaya.org and we’ll shape the programme around what members need.

What if I can’t attend live?

Our workshops follow a rolling programme, so topics come around again. If you miss a session, you can book another date when that topic returns.

Can I ask questions about my own family?

Yes. We make time at the end of each workshop for questions. These conversations take place within the group, so you can choose what you feel comfortable sharing.

Can I suggest a workshop topic?

Yes. Members can suggest topics and vote for ideas they would find helpful. These suggestions help shape our workshop programme.

Can I speak to someone privately?

Yes. Your membership includes a 10-minute one-to-one call with our Clinical Director each month, for a question about routines, sleep or developmental milestones. Longer private consultations are planned and will be available at an additional cost.

Does membership include medical consultations or home visits?

No. Kinvaya provides parenting education and support. We are not a medical or diagnostic service and we do not give medical advice. Medical consultations and home visits are not included.

If you are ever worried about your child’s health or your own, please contact your midwife, health visitor, GP or another healthcare professional. For urgent advice call NHS 111, and in an emergency call 999.

Where are you based?

Kinvaya is based in the United Kingdom. Workshops and coaching sessions run online in UK time, so you can take part from anywhere. In-person support is planned and we’ll share where it will be available when it is ready.

How do payments and cancellation work?

Membership costs £32 and is billed monthly. You can cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund. Please read our Terms and Conditions for how to cancel and the terms that apply after the first 14 days.
